Our story began in Portrane in 1952. Today, the Lynders family proudly continues a tradition of personal service, local knowledge and making every guest feel at home.
In 2024, we brought that same warm welcome to Rooskey on the River Shannon. Two beautiful settings, united by the same family values and genuine care for everyone who comes to stay.

Our spacious, numbered and pre-allocated touring pitches welcome motorhomes, touring caravans, campervans, rooftop tents and RVs. Choose grass or hardstanding, with 10-amp electric hook-up on every pitch. Awnings are welcome where suitable for your pitch.
Selected pitches have a direct water connection. Water points and a dedicated motorhome service point for grey-water and chemical-waste disposal are also available. Camper kitchens, modern washrooms and free fibre Wi-Fi are included.
DUBLIN · UP TO 2 ADULTS & 2 CHILDREN
Cosy, fully insulated pods with electric heating, a double bed and a pull-down sofa bed, best suited to two adults and up to two small children.
Your kitchenette includes a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery and utensils. Each pod has a private toilet and washbasin, with complimentary hot showers a short walk away. A dedicated broadband router provides your own unshared Wi-Fi.
Outside, your private space is made for barbecues, unwinding and time together. Please bring bed linen and towels or add linen hire when booking.
DUBLIN · A DEDICATED TENT AREA BY THE COAST
Pitch up close to the beach in our dedicated, fenced tent area, with allocated pitches and 10-amp electric hook-up. Enjoy the 24-hour camper kitchen, free hot showers, Wi-Fi and on-site laundry.
One tent per pitch. Know your exact tent dimensions when booking. All tents must arrive by 9pm. Cars may unload at the pitch before parking in Car Park B.
DUBLIN · SELF-CATERING · UP TO 6 GUESTS
Your own coastal base, with a fully equipped kitchen, open-plan lounge and dining space, private shower and toilet. Choose a two-bedroom home with a sofa bed or a three-bedroom home, each sleeping up to six.
Stay for 3–14 nights. Duvets and pillows are supplied; bring your own linen and towels or add a linen pack. No pets are permitted in rental accommodation.
River Shannon · By the water
ROOSKEY · CARAVANS · MOTORHOMES · ROOFTOP TENTS
Settle beside the Shannon with your motorhome, touring caravan, campervan or rooftop tent. Numbered pitches include 10-amp electric hook-up, free Wi-Fi, hot showers and access to the camper kitchen.
Enjoy self check-in, a motorhome service point and the village on your doorstep. Ground tents and RVs are not accommodated at Rooskey.
ROOSKEY · ARRIVE BY BOAT · FOUR MOORING SPACES
Make Lynders your stop on the Shannon. Our four bookable mooring spaces offer electric hook-up, fresh-water access and guest facilities, with secure gated access to the private jetty.
There is no minimum stay, and stays can be booked for up to 14 nights. Enjoy a coffee at Rooskey Brew or pick up essentials at the tackle store.
Enjoy hot or iced coffee, toasted paninis, pastries and sweet treats by the River Shannon. Open Monday–Thursday, 9:30am–4pm, and Friday–Sunday, 8:30am–5:30pm.

Around 15 minutes from Dublin Airport and 25 minutes from Dublin Ferry Port by car. Allow for traffic.

From local festivals and Tidy Towns to sports clubs in Fingal and Rooskey, supporting our neighbours has always been part of the Lynders story.
Recycling, water-saving fixtures, native planting, beach clean-ups and riverbank litter-picking help care for the coastal and riverside places we call home.
